Miracle Championships

Are you a Miracle sailor? Shotwick Lake Sailing has an active Miracle fleet and in September will be holding the Miracle Welsh Area Championships over the 20th/21st September. On the Saturday evening there will be a social evening in the clubhouse, complete with a tasty meal - open to club members, friends and visitors.  

All are welcome to participate in the championships. Camping/campervan space is available free of charge Friday and Saturday night. For Friday evening arrivals please contact Geoff Weir (07857854808) or Simon Dowling (07443803637) to arrange entry before 6:30pm. After 6:30 the club will be open for arrivals.

Food and refreshments (Sat from 10am, Sunday from 9:30) includes breakfast cereals/milk, bacon butties, rolls/sandwiches/cakes, teas and coffees. On Saturday there will be an evening meal at 6:30pm for £12 per person, choose from steak pie with veg, or meat-based lasagne - no bar but feel free to bring your own drinks. Saturday evening meals can be ordered from Julie Dolman (07870 297 004) or via Geoff. Please book food by September 15th. 

Racing programme:

Saturday 20th September (2 races): 11:00 registration, 12:30 briefing, 13:00 race 1, 14:30 race 2

Sunday 21st September (3 races): 10:00 registration, 10:30 race 3 immediately followed by 11:30 race 4, 13:30 race 5

Prize giving approx 16:00 on Sunday.

Only £20 per boat for the two days, £15 for Sunday only.
